To be a good fit for the Creative Director opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Graphic Design.
  • 8+ years of experience and/or a portfolio of proven abilities in a similar role.
  • Advanced skills demonstrated by a comprehensive creative portfolio.
  • Strong creative and strategy direction.
  • Captivating presentation skills.
  • Web and mobile design experience 
  • Social media & content creation knowledge.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will be an integral part of the marketing team and responsible for leading and managing the brand creative at Aspen as well as managing the creative team. The team includes Graphic Designers and Design Interns. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Building and evolving the Aspen brand and leading the creative requirements for the company, including the management of the graphic design workload. Working with marketing to ensure all materials are produced in line with the strategic direction of the organization. Creating brand and product campaigns, marketing materials, packaging, leading website UX/UI, and all customer-facing content.
More specifically, you will:
  • Lead creative strategy for multiple businesses and regions across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain brand and style guidelines for the global brand. Partner with marketing leadership on brand strategy and architecture.
  • Develop compressive integrated creative campaigns and manage the creative process from start to finish.
  • Design and manage projects from the creation of initial concepts through design/layout to release of production-ready files. Ability to identify design errors and adjust accordingly. Quick question for you - click here
  • Partner with existing team members on copywriting, art direction, design and strategy.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, how to design for each platform and understanding of the best layout/design for each.
  • Collaborates with digital teams to develop UX/UI for web optimization and customer experience.
  • Work closely with project owners, vendors and other designers to prioritize day-to-day work and set up checkpoints to ensure high-quality control and project delivery in a timely manner.
  • Identify and implement necessary resources to achieve project objectives – vendors, material solutions and research, technical solutions and resources, necessary project objectives information.
